Sorry about the lack of responses this week, been a bit busy with setting things up and such as well as trying a new game that’ll be ready for a review next week. However, I do have something short for you all to enjoy while my review is being written. I had an interesting week that had tragedy but also some hope to it. Something everyone needs to hold in these dark times.
Tragedy Begets Hope
A week ago, my dog had to be put down….
The old girl was a long member of my life…
The pain of it still hits me hard
Like a piece of me pierced by a knife.
Then a week after that, my grandmother’s cat died
felled to due a raspatory infection
She took it hard due to now being alone.
alone with a growing sadness and depression.
Though suddenly, like a strange ghost
the sound of a kitten’s mews is heard
beckoning us to help her.
On one Saturday night, we answered her beckoning words
Little Arya is her name
and she became a beacon of hope.
as though some hand of God has intervened
and helped us out…
You can say that tragedy begat hope
and that Arya was the light in our darkest moment
and I would say this:
“yes..she did begat hope”
